What if we as people (and all of our parts) are intrinsically good? What if even our suffering has something kind and wise that it’s trying to say, and all we have to do is listen? With this notion that we could “become friends” with the pain in our hearts and minds and access this intrinsic goodness, I aim to empower my clients to embrace their tenderness and to discover the beauty and brilliance of their authentic selves.

I graduated from Naropa University with a concentration in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology. I work primarily from a person-centered approach, where the therapeutic relationship is considered the catalyst for healing. Drawing from both my education and my clinical work in crisis intervention and out-patient community mental health, my specialties include major life transitions and identity exploration, as well as extreme affect states, such as panic attacks, severe depressive episodes, and angry outbursts.

I hold the social locations of: White, queer, transfemme (any pronouns), neurodivergent, able-bodied, and non-monogamous. As such, I love working with fellow LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse folx, and consider cultural humility and continuing education on intersectionality as necessary for my work as a therapist.
